General Terms and Conditions of Purchase and Acceptance

Berez Galanta’s delivery of txakoli, including shipping costs, is made within the Spanish peninsular territory, excluding the cities of Ceuta and Melilla, the islands of Gran Canaria and the Balearic Islands.

Order delivery

Delivery time is 48 to 72 hours, which starts from the day after receipt of your order and confirmation of payment.

However, late delivery shall not imply any compensation and the Customer shall only be entitled to cancel the order in the circumstances described in the cancellation section of these terms and conditions. Any penalty clause for delay introduced by the Customer in the order shall be null and void. Claims for loss of profit are expressly excluded by both parties.

Due to the present circumstances caused by the pandemic, order delivery may be delayed.

Once the contract has been concluded, the buyer may not withdraw from the contract (except for lack of availability of a product as indicated in the previous section, or if the right of withdrawal is applicable in accordance with the regulations on consumers and users) as is required to pay the price, taxes and corresponding costs to receive the orders and to comply with the other contractually established obligations.

Deliveries will be made by courier to the delivery address indicated in the delivery details of the order. Subsequent modification of this address may result in a series of costs which will be charged to the Customer and delivery may be affected.

Payment methods

The Berez Galanta online store offers the following payment methods:

CREDIT CARD:

After completing your order and choosing the credit card payment method, the website will redirect you to the Berez Galanta payment gateway, where you will be asked for the following details:

  • Credit card number, consisting of 20 numbers in blocks of 4 digits.
  • Expiry month and year.
  • Cardholder name.
  • CVC: verification code that can be found on the back of the credit card

PAYPAL

After completing your order and choosing the PayPal payment method, the website will redirect you to the PayPal page where you will see the order placed and two possible ways to make the payment:

  1. With PayPal user data: using your username and password to make the payment.
  2. Payment by credit card through PayPal: by filling in the requested fields, cardholder name, card number, expiry date and CVC you can make the payment without the need for PayPal user data.

BANK TRANSFER

With this method you will be able to pay for your order within 72 hours by making a bank transfer for the order amount, indicating the order number that you’ll find in the email sent to your email address in the concept.

Cancellation policies

In accordance with Spanish regulations, the Customer may cancel their purchase without having to justify their decision and without penalty within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the products purchased. The exercise of this right may be requested via the email address galanta@txakoligalanta.com. The Customer must send the corresponding products to the address indicated in these General Terms and Conditions to Arteta Bidea, 7, 48960 – Galdakao (Bizkaia), in perfect condition, with all packaging, components and accessories intact. The cost of this shipment must be paid in full by the Customer, who may use any method he/she considers appropriate, at his/her own risk. If the return is due to a processing error attributable to Berez Galanta, Berez Galanta shall be responsible for collecting the products.

If the cancellation is applicable, Berez Galanta will refund the consumer the full price of the purchase, within a maximum period of ten calendar days from receipt of the products via the same payment method used by the Customer.

Modifications

Berez Galanta reserves the right to modify and update the website, its contents, availability and presentation, as well as the present conditions of sale, prices and costs, at any time.

Breakage or serious damage

If a product is visibly and clearly damaged at the time of delivery, without having to handle the shipping packaging or the product itself, or you notice an error in the product received, you must fill out the cancellation form that that comes with the delivery note and send it by post to Berez Galanta at the address indicated.

In this case, Berez Galanta will deliver a replacement product equal to the one purchased, collecting the defective one when delivering the new product, with Berez Galanta assuming the costs of this process. In the event that the Customer opted for a refund, he/she must indicate on the withdrawal form the account holder and the number to which he/she wants the corresponding amount to be paid. The refund will be made within the legally stipulated time.

Contract purpose

The purchase of our products implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions, as well as the provisions of the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Website which, together with the order placed by the Customer, constitute the contract between the latter and Berez Galanta.

For the purposes of this contract, the Customer shall be understood to be the purchasing party in the relationship. The Customer confirms that he/she is of legal age and is in any case fully capable and empowered to enter into a contract in accordance with the applicable legislation, and to assume the commitments of these General Terms and Conditions, either for him/herself or on behalf of the company or entity that he/she indicates, represents or in whose interest he/she acts.
